Crackin' eggs

In a frenzy of painting, the boys transformed these into spectacular pace eggs, all ready for rolling.

The last time we'd been in Eyemouth, we'd seen a bank that seemed ideal for the purpose - so we headed down there in the afternoon (taking the opportunity to enjoy some excellent fish and chips!).

Unfortunately, the slope turned out to be far from perfect, with the eggs rolling a few measly feet before stopping. So in the end, the lads resorted to lobbing them from the top of the bank to break them on the ground below. Still, they seemed to enjoy it, and it was all the same to the seagulls (which is veering towards cannibalism, when you think about it...)
