New Life

The garden has been so very dry that the flowers rushed forwards and have already formed their seed heads.  The heads seem to have many seeds therein - so I scattered them and picked a few to photograph indoors - because it is raining!  A gentle rain has been falling for about ten minutes now. This is great as it will soak in rather than run off....... I can hear the garden heaving sighs of relief....BUT  I hope it knows when to stop! The kids break up at the end of this week, so we could really do with more dry days for them to enjoy their summer break!
