Forde Abbey

Every two weeks the Forde Abbey RDA Carriage Driving Group meet, and people with severe disabilities, who would not be able to ride a horse or pony, enjoy a carriage drive through the stunning grounds. Some drivers become so skilled that they participate in national competitions. The carriages are adapted to take wheelchair users,  but as they use ponies, they can only accept children and adults up to 12 stones in weight. See extra for a carriage driving through the lovely countryside, with Devon cattle in the background.
My main blip is of the fountain at Forde Abbey which is on only three times daily in the summer season. It's the highest powered fountain in England and is pretty spectacular.
Our grandsons followed a trail and managed to find all 10 clues - which were hidden far and wide over the 30 acres of gardens and park, so they were both awarded with a certificate.
