Astronomically speaking

My first activity in the morning is to slide the bathroom window open to feel the air and check the sky. Blurry eyed I noticed that Venus and the Moon will be no closer than this tomorrow, so off I stumbled to fetch my camera. I was hoping my longest lens was on it but alas not so and had to settle for the shorter telephoto. I guess it wouldn't be much different as it turned out. A little Earth shine does show up viewed Large.
