Boston MA #3

Day 3 of my week in Boston was spent in the leafy green suburbs as Caitlin drove me all around the area where she grew up.  Her memory lanes meandered through seemingly endless leafy roads of woodland and quiet streets of well spaced homes, past Dudley "pond" (looked like a lake to me - extra) and was a truly beautiful way to spend this hot and sunny day, (somewhere around 31ºC outside the air-conditioned car) showing me a side of the greater area of Boston I could never have seen without my personal tour guide. Brunch (today's main pic) was at a roadside diner - all part of the "American Experience".  Eggs benedict with fruit cup and the never ending refilled cup of coffee. It was utterly delicious.

Mid late afternoon we killed a couple of hours in a very large shopping mall where we both bought shoes, before heading back to Wayland to meet Caitlin's parents for an early dinner. Another delicious repast, what fun to talk to Caitlin's Dad while sitting outside in the garden of the 101 Grill, Wayland, Boston MA, in early evening sunshine, very hot but the brolly and a cold beer helped. It's all really rather surreal. Chelmsford and Istanbul both seem a lifetime, (or should that be lifestyle? ) away.
