Tiempos antiguos

Some Sunday mornings are what I call domestic mornings: time to throw away old newspapers, bring empties to the bottle bank, hoover and dust a bit, clean the bathroom, put on a wash, match socks with their partners and if push comes to shove, iron shirts for the week. Today there was also a walk through the park and on to High street to get oranges and bread. A sign for an antiques market piqued my curiosity, so I went in to have a quick look. Nothing too exciting, except the smiling lady on the wall; things have moved on since, haven't they?
