Breach

A letter was sent to all residents, chastising those who have been hanging out washing on their balconies. Apparently this is an eyesore for other residents and it breaches a clause in the lease. I am embarrassed to live in a block where for some this has posed enough of a problem to raise it as a complaint. I don't have a balcony, but if I did right now I'd be hanging out some mustard coloured y-fronts with impunity.

A rambunctious evening upstairs with neighbours Andy, Sandra and Ronni. Highly cathartic to be ranting about the state of the world and the sheer global embarrassment of Donald Trump. Only because the US is so sensationalist in everything does it deflect attention from UK politics, which is depressing and broken. The Conservative MP Christopher Chope today deserves the country's anger. He is so bathed in his own sexism that first he objected to the very obvious and simple step of banning the invasive practice of upskirting, and today was the sole objector, using a technicality, in rallying against the use of the Commons by a women's conference. His privilege guarantees he's totally out of touch with the prevailing mood and shows him up as petty, misogynistic and generally rather odious. Anyone who supports this ignorant fool in their constituency (Christchurch in Dorset) does need to examine their other voting options very carefully indeed.
