You can't beat a beech wood in Autumn

Especially in the company of a good friend, who is equally as likely to stop and take a photograph as you are.

Anne and I didn't see much in the way of wildlife (apart from some gorgeous goldcrests) but that's probably because we were kicking our way through the leaves and a bit too noisy. It was fun though.
