Little Man

When I was 7-years old, my sister gave me a set of oil paints and a color matching chart. I have been painting with oil ever since. It was the best gift I ever got.

I just finished this oil painting of my grandson, Grant. For reference, I used a photo my daughter took of him when he was 18-months old.  There are two things I like about it.  He is at the tipping point of changing from a baby to a little boy. Also, he reflects the very same positivity that my daughter has always had. Children learn to smile from their parents.

The extra is of our twin daughters, Ally & Jess when they were little. You can see that same smile. The other extra is Grant today at age 5.
