Wagon wheels

These old wheels have been in a field at the top of the hill for years, and are gently falling to pieces.  Now you can see the actual construction of them so well, all the different components and how they were put together.  A lost art, or just about, I imagine.

The registration plate, still attached by a bit of string, is BS5945, which would have belongs to the tractor which towed it, whatever it was.
