Wide Wednesday: Lines

These lines of boulders have recently appeared on the edge of the park at the bottom of our road. Last year a group of travellers parked their vans on the park here for a week or so before moving on to the car park just round the corner from us. Apart from leaving some litter, there was no anti-social behaviour that I was aware of but it meant that no-one else could use the car park to park their cars and part of the park was blocked by their vehicles.

Anyway, they reappeared in the car park a couple of weeks back and, although they moved on fairly swiftly, the local council are obviously taking no risks when it comes to the possibility of using the park again and we seem to have our own permanent tribute to Stonehenge.

With Gary & Tamsin at Ben's graduation, I spent sometime chopping wood in preparation for winter, Ant rather than Grasshopper style, before having a lunchtime swim in the outdoor pool and spending the afternoon pottering.

Afraid I've got even more behind with commenting than I am with actual blipping while we've been entertaining.
