Ridge and furrow

At the demonstration garden where our health walk starts they have been trialling ridge an dfurrow cultivation, once dug it doesn't need re-doing. THe veg seem to be loving it, they've come on really fast (though do need a fair bit of watering)..
I'd cycled there and then up to church but the summer cafe had been really busy and they were low on food - but what we got was excellent. Now everyone's having a cafe break.
Picked the last of the currants and then to club training, hill reps, before heading to daughter's for 24hrs to look after the boys whilst Dad is at work tomorrow. She's going south to a kayaking competirion.
Rain forecast, I hope it's a reasonable amount.
