Schloss Concordia

Today visiting the "Zentralfriedhof", the main cemetery of Vienna and on of the largest in the world. Situated in an outer city district it is connected with a tram "line 71" from the city centre.
Among the Viennese, who love the macabre play with words, a popular euphemism for a death is that the deceased person "has taken the 71" in a "wooden pyjama".
Another saying: "The Zentralfriedhof is only half the size of Zurich but twice as much fun".
Opposite the cemeteries main entrance is this wonderful restaurant "Concordia" with a huge statue of Christ, almost hiding the door, and a clock showing five to twelve, all the time ...
