The Isle of Man

The crossing back from Belfast to Heysham was somewhat rainy. The difference in birds and cetaceans seen was very noticeable. The seabirds were sitting on the water and hard to pick up among the wave crests. We only spotted 6 Harbour Porpoise today, down from 24 yesterday as they are so small they couldn't be seen between the waves.
The weather improved a little around the Isle of Man but then the rain set in again.
Overall though a good survey and top marks to Stena ships for being welcoming and organised - they even knew we were expected on board!
