Another Friday and another Flower

Thank you Biker Bear for creating and nurturing a day to celebrate the blooms of our lives. Flower Friday is now when I get to "officially" record what is going on in our garden and our surroundings.  I so appreciate the  resident gardener who delights in making sure we have something blooming around us Inside or out all year long.  Today i am highlighting the flowers from the crepe myrtle that blooms in our backyard.  It was here when we bought our house 35 years ago and we see it's blooms from every window that faces it.  It will bloom from now until September.  It is a huge tree and I have yet to take a photo I like that gets the scope of it's magnificence.
