Laughter on the Land

Got up too early to get more work done in cool of the day; Mike making shade over caravan and me cooking for tonight, and cleaning. And then off to Évora to collect Beth, and a sneaky coffee with a pastel de nata after some last minute shopping.

Ten people invited for a sardinhada, but three didn't make it. Way too much food, as usual, but thankfully they took some of it away. No idea why Beth is finding it so funny that the Padre is drinking guaraná (a Brazilian drink she likes).

In the background, the BBQ Mike is making - not finished, but did a good job of grilling the sardines, mackerel and sausages tonight - and Lula, on his new sliding tether, and buckets of water in case of an errant spark.
