Started the day with a 10 o'clock appointment for my first cupping experience down at BrewLab Coffee. Six different brews from six different countries provided by Monmouth Coffee. Number 1 had a nice smokiness, 4 was my favourite and 6 was delicious (and turned out to be very expensive).

Back up the road to catch our lodger and head out for a roast lunch round the corner. Tasty, and generous (to say the least), but unfortunately a painful experience with Scotland vs New Zealand on the tv in the pub. Oh well, it's not as if it was a surprise. Looks like that fiver won't be turning into £130 any time soon Mike.
