Butterfly Eggs

So difficult to photograph especially in the breeze. If I wanted to be serious about doing stuff like this, I think I would have to dig out some of the equipment: tripod, off-camera flash ( I suspect that's stored in the attic) and something to shield it all with. 

I am reasonably sure that the  butterfly in the extra is newly hatched. It was hanging around as if drying its wings and it was some time before it flew off. 

Caterpillars yesterday, eggs and butterfly today - need to find the chrysalis next.
