Fun and Games at the Harbour

It was only when we parked the car down by the harbour in St Andrews that we realised it was the Harbour Gala Day.

The weather was lovely so there were plenty of people around watching the boat races, finding out about alpacas, standing around while the children enjoyed the bouncy castle, sampling the goodies and just generally having a good time in the sunshine.

As if walking round St Andrews wasn't enough we had a lovely walk along Elie beach in the afternoon. The tide was well out so there was plenty of firm sand to walk on ..... and of course we just had to have an ice cream!
