Other water

Ninety percent of the time we go on known paths; ten percent of the time we try a new off-shoot. A recent new turn took us by this pond near an apartment complex. Now it marks the turn-around point of our Cordata walk. Funny to compare to the Gorge, what with its width, wind, and waves. My mom did not seem to notice that I was gone a few days and we fell back into an easy rhythm.
