Edward's Roller?

We visited The Firs, Elgar's birthplace on the way to Tewkesbury today - a remarkably easy drive despite it being the first weekend of the school summer holidays.

The National Trust have taken the property on and built a rather good visitor centre with plenty of information about his early life.  Given that he moved away at two,, it is unlikely he ever did get to use the garden roller :-)
The whole building is in the extra.

Despite being here for a very small proportion of his life, it clearly meant something to him as he returned to visit as an adult and, at his request,  his daughter bought it shortly after his death as a memorial to his lifes work.
