We had a busy day exploring Cologne. Up relatively early and into town. We visited the Dom which is absolutely stunning and checked out the treasury. Then trip to St Ursula where we, unfortunately, missed the opening times. We were curious to see the bone arrangements of the 15000 virgins. Onwards to the German/Roman museum which we thoroughly enjoyed. Max got a good idea of provincial Roman empire, the heart of the Roman empire and the Northern border. Loved the mosaic and in particular the chariot. More wandering and pizza in the sunshine on the banks of the river Rhine. 

Annoyingly an app on my mobile decided to be particularly chatty and downloaded half the internet (well, not quite). Managed to sort it out but ended up with a more expensive contract for the next few months. Really need to sort out what is going on with it...
