A fine day - first up, the papers and sitting out for breakfast with the tiddlers, and then we decided a trip out to Jupiter Artland would be just the ticket. Which it was. And this time we got to the bottle boathouse which is rather nice. Back to town and up to Hanam’s - a birthday surprise we’d sprung on L&P. Though as they arrived early and saw the table for six, it wasn’t quite the surprise it could have been. At that point we jettisoned the youngsters - imagine - they’d no idea who Del Amitri were!
But what a cracking gig it was; truly one of life’s great pleasures, singing along-a-Del-Amitri. And yes, stand and gyrate if you are so moved. And the venue had sprung a surprise on the crowd. No bar! Nane! I had an ice cream. A double 99 with a flake, since you ask. And yes, you’re the last to know.
