Hume Castle (and the wind turbines)

All day spent labelling the photos in the portfolio, then creating a display board ready for the Glendale Festival tomorrow. It's almost finished!

Then went across the Border with MrM - he was playing with the jazz band at a 'do' in Birgham Village Hall. A good evening, with supper included; the desserts were amazing! "Wait until you get to the cherry trifle at the end of the table", said Dorothy, the very elderly lady who was sitting next to me. "There's sherry in it, medium sweet." It would have been rude not to have some. There was, indeed, sherry - undoubtedly the most alcoholic trifle I've ever tasted, and also the most delicious!

Several people mentioned the good view of Hume Castle - some 25 miles distant - from the back of the hall. So here you have it, complete with two wind turbines and a telegraph wire...
