Grand kids time

having spent the day travelling yesterday we finally arrived home around midnight. The GWR train was 15 minutes delayed into Reading which meant we would have missed the last train. Being concerned about this I spoke to the train manager who phoned ahead and got the Southwestern train held til we arrived. It did mean we had to run up the escalator across the bridge down the escalator along platform 7 to get to platform 6 with 3 teenagers who had packed light who had a suitcase each but 2 bags each.
So after lie in, a costa, lunch we all went to Bushy park for cuteness overload. I was so lucky to see the heron catch this fish and fly off with it.

Home and they jumped into the pool , followed by a shower, followed by tea then played UNO. Its going to be a fun 2 weeks
