Caha Pass, Beara Peninsula

Early start for the Journey to Beara, I took many images of the wild and beautiful landscape we passed through but this image, the first of the day, of the mountains around Glengariff in the early morning light was first choice. The weather got windier as the day went on and the showers more intense but we had avoided getting wet, just very chilled. We reached out destination of Allihies and warmed up near a roaring fire at O'Neils bar, where a pint and a meal went down very well!
