Adam's Ale

Temperance is one of the virtues on si_b's list of Vices and Virtues - the theme for Mono Monday challenges in July.  'Temperance' can mean 'abstinence from alcohol' which might or might not be difficult. Regarding the title - Adam's ale is water.
