Getting the sparkle back

Harebells

T and I have seen a lot of harebells recently so I reckoned it was time for a harebell blip. We were on the Bonaly/Kinleith/Glencorse/Bonaly walk today, one of our favourites (although we could do with adding some to our repertoire), and we saw these tall harebells with several stems in hedgerows as well as shorter ones with one stem per plant on hillsides which are what I usually think of as harebells.

We also saw cracked earth in fields of crops (see extra photo), a rare sight in Scotland. It might not be a good harvest this year!
