Mono Monday : Virtue

I like to photograph bumblebees, and whilst I was hanging around a lovely flowerbed full of lavender this morning, I noticed these two.
Maybe it's the hot weather, but the bumblebees were all in full Duracell bunny mode this morning, flying from one flower stalk to another with frantic energy. The butterflies were just as active, no sooner had one settled on a flower than another one was hovering hopefully nearby.
I didn't get one decent bee photo, and I don't think the butterfly achieved his objective either. However, both of us were making good use of the virtue of patience.
