MonoMonday: Vices - Pride

We're back in Macclesfield to check up on Mum-in-Law again, now that she's been in her new care home for 9 days. The staff tell us that she's settling in really well, getting involved in lots of activities and spending time outside, which is great as these opportunities were sorely lacking at the old place. (Sadly she wasn't able to tell us about them, as she can't remember new things for more than a few seconds but it's good to know she's able to enjoy herself moment by moment.)

We're only staying one night - after that we're off on a whistle-stop tour of the country - watch this space if you want to know where!

As for today's blip - we took our favourite Newcastle-to-Macclesfield route via Woodhead Pass and Glossop. We've chuckled at this doggie grooming parlour in Glossop before and pondered when would be a good time to blip it. Today seemed ideal during si_b's  month of hosting MonoMonday on Vices and Virtues. Who knew that dogs could be snobs and guilty of the sin of pride?

(I bet they're too proud to pop next door for a pizza or a burger, they probably prefer caviar...although if they did venture there they'd probably also be guilty of gluttony!)
