Rotten in Retail (315/366)

I understand the role that supermarkets play in life. They've identified a need that consumers have to shorten the amount of time spent foraging for groceries.

But if the supermarkets can afford to let you take three of a product when you pay for onyl one, there's something seriously wrong with the retail model.

it would be simpler just to price the product at the right level in the first place. We as humans are spending too much time tying ourselves up in knots trying to outsmart each other, and consequently our overall level of usable innovation has gone to nought.

I don't want to come over all Private Frazer, but I'm starting to think that humanity is doomed.
