Hollyhock

We had quite a fall of rain late yesterday evening .... the ground dried up very quickly but when I was out this morning I noticed that many flower petals were still holding onto a few water droplets.

Somewhere out there L and I have a guardian angel ..... when we returned home, this afternoon, from our walk down to the harbour neither of us had the front door key. Our neighbour who keeps a spare wasn't in. The only thing we could do was retrace our steps and hope to find the key .... somewhere!

The local joiner also has a key and fortunately his office was open so we were able to get the second spare key from Kenneth.  Back home we trudged with L promising to cycle back and return the key once we had opened the door.

Imagine our surprise when we arrived back at the door of No 74 and the key was sticking out of the lock .... it most certainly wasn't there when we came home the first time and turned out our pockets and bags as we did a frantic but useless search. There's no name or number, just a Hope for Glasgow key ring.

We don't know who to thank so L just stuck a 'Thank You' note on the door.
