Testing in the Tatras

Have just spent an eventful couple of days in the Tatra mountains in Slovakia. We were there to test the new Kia Ceed, the predecessor of which was bizarrely called the cee’d. No idiotic lower case c and stray apostrophe any more, thankfully.

During the event we came close to colliding with a low-flying stork, a bizarre noise caused by wind howling through balcony railings necessitated a middle-of-the-night hotel room change to get some sleep, and the homeward flight had to divert via Leipzig due to a fuel problem caused by the high ambient temperature.

These two characters were hanging about by the roadside on the test route ...
