Goodnight

So we've arrived at the hotel where we begin our London to Paris cycle challenge tomorrow.

It was an earlyish start this morning to make sure all was packed and all kit included before my good friend and husband came to collect myself and bike to begin our journey to London.

A fork lift truck was needed to get my suitcase in the car I like to be prepared for every eventuality so clothes for summer, winter rain and sun all packed. I was going to dump some stuff out but decided better of it!

We set off just before 12 with goodbyes to teenagers and off we headed down the motorway. We made good time but hit traffic as we got near London. But our chauffeur was very calm and collected and brought us safely to our destination.

We had one stop en route where we unlocked our bodies potential with our training partner for sport and exercise! Locozade lemon and lime flavour! Very nice and saw us on our way.

On arrival at the hotel we saw the amount of bikes, styles, big tyres, little tyres, hybrids and not hybrids. With a little air in each tyre off the mechanics we left our bikes with all the others to collect in the morning.

After a gin and tonic of course, a walk down to sainsburys to buy tea, causing a commosion at the traffic lights because we walked on the red man! Tea bought and back to the room to watch so reality show Love Island. My friend can't wait for the next episode!

Packing up for the morning i watched my friend struggle to get her handbag in her luggage bag. Guess what, it fit in my large suitcase.

Time for bed before we cycle L2P.
