Blast off!

Now that my daughter Lauren has moved to Blackheath, we have discovered that the best park in the world is right there! Yesterday was visit and park day with my other daughter, Naomi and the grandchildren. After flying in on the plane we travelled by coach to where we could pick up our vintage car for a quick drive to the pirate ship. Having been captured many times over by pirates, we managed to escape to the amazing rocket ship which, reaching up to the sky is almost in space already. I must admit that Nanny watched with heart in mouth as 3 year old Cleo climbed to the very top and then launched herself down the slide, bulletting out the other end. I think she scared herself a little when landing! You might just make out her small personage and baby (doll) climbing confidently towards the top in this photo.
