Al Fresco

With the good weather forecast to last right up to when it turns to bad weather we decided to dine in the open air. We chanced upon a café on the Rossie estate in Fife. What a delight, sitting in the sun, reading the papers, drinking tea. I can report that the cheese scones were cheesy and the cheese soup even cheesier (I have a fondness for cheese that borders on an obsession).

Lunch was a distraction that kept us momentarily away from the main event. The walled garden!  Wonderful, and full of plants I have never seen before. Everything seemed to be at it's best.

Most enjoyable. As the heat is still climbing through the afternoon a search for some cold beer is next on the agenda.
