Magnificent beast

Our living room faces west towards the A1. We get full sun from about 11 till 7 ish and although we have blinds at the windows which we've been adjusting, it means for the last few weeks we've been sitting in the dark most of the time. So we splashed the cash and ordered a 9 mtr sq large parasol, and it arrived yesterday.
My goodness what a difference already. The living room has been lovely and light and cool today. Not sure it's in exactly the right position or angle yet, but I can't move it very easily on my own so it will stay that way for now.
