Brambles!!!

A bit early I think!!

As a school kid in Carlisle we used to go collecting brambles in the last week of the summer holidays. I’m sure that they were never ripe this early in the summer.

I should have gone to London today to meet up with A and the children. We decided to postpone the trip due to the heat and more importantly the fact that Annie has had shingles, very rare in a child, and I’m sure she would find the day too tiring.

A day at home sewing. It was a bit cooler this morning but got really hot this afternoon.

I collected the brambles when on our tea time walk. The plan is to gather a few daily.
