I Need Longer Arms (or a selfie stick)

Mine and Andy's birthday today - yes, he arrived on my birthday 27 years ago(!). On our day we normally play a round of golf somewhere new and then regret it because we didn't know our way around the course and then lose a few balls and don't enjoy it as much as we'd expected.

So, this year we played a round of golf and at probably the most famous course in the world, the very home of the game - the Old Course at St Andrews. The virtual reality experience is based in the centre of Bristol and was great fun, despite Andy finishing 13 shots ahead of me on 4 over par. And we didn't lose a single ball!!

Afterwards we played snooker for a couple of hours at a club on Park Street, where I took out my revenge with a convincing 5-1 victory. Competitiveness runs in the family you'll have gathered.

We finished the day with a trip to TGIs. From left to right, Kieron, Danielle, Andy, Jess, Jan, Bern, Mrs K and your truly. I nearly got all of us in the frame :)

Matt and Steph are enjoying their honeymoon in Corfu and we haven't been called upon to look after Harrison by his other grandparents.... yet.
