Altered Image at Sheffield Park

We'd heard fabulous things about the great autumn colours to be seen over at Sheffield Park, so armed with our trusty National Trust membership we packed the hounds in the car and headed over there for a look-see.

Alas the spectacular colours were where we weren't allowed to go as we had the dogs, although we did have a great walk around the perimeter and the scenery was lovely. This tree took my fancy but quite frankly the original shot was a let down to the tree so I had a wrestle with it in the picture editor. Hmmmm ......

p.s. the place is so popular at this time of year the car park was full when we left at about 1.00'ish and they were turning cars away!
