Female Grey Bush Cricket

Woke up to this beastie on the outside of the kitchen door. I  tried to move it before closing the door,  as I didn't want it to get squashed. It jumped to the door thread and then onto my slipper, which made me jump and kick my foot wildly to shake it off. I've no idea where it ended up and checked numerous times that it wasn't on me before going back inside.

It's clouded over and I'm pretty sure thunder has been rumbling away for a while now. Fingers crossed we get some much needed rain but not the torrential sort.
