By the Sea

The girls all had a relaxing morning in the villa whilst I (Chris) went to look at a local lake (Lac de Rioutard). I ended up walking all the way around it although I lost the route of the official footpath at one point and ended up in the scrubland, quite scratchy!

After lunch and a dip in the pool, we headed back to Frèjus on the coast. Immy and I went parasailing (two of us on a parachute being pulled along by a powerboat), great fun and a great view. We had our feet dipped in the sea deliberately by the driver slowing at one point but both take off and landing happened from the back of the boat without entering the water.

After a dip in the sea, we had a wander around the very smart area of Port Frèjus. Lots of very expensive looking boats here (although some were perhaps worth less than their mooring cost, see the extra). A lovely dinner by the water then back to the villa for a few card games.
