Life from a City

Abandoned Corner

Every garden has places like this. Abandoned corners where old pots are kept, bits of tarpaulin.... wood. They are usually well hidden and tucked away. Even my parents, whose garden is their ultimate pride and joy, have a small area where no one would notice, which looks sort of like this.

The world cannot be completely manicured. There is always bits of chaos; that's part of life. Even if you take the most manicured lawn, and go down into the smaller world, there is chaos. Its just how well its hidden.

Life is a constant balance between order and chaos, arrangements of beauty next to the less pleasant. And the chaos can, itself, give birth to life. Stars are born in the chaos of a gas cloud, weeds grow through every available slot. Perhaps we should look for the beauty in the chaos, accepting its presence as an essential part of the world.
