Eagles Flying

I couldn’t spend time in Sligo without visiting a favourite spot from over the years, Eagles Flying in Ballymote. The best €11 you’ll spend anywhere. It’s just a pity my camera skills and camera battery ran out early in the show.

A drive north to Killybegs then via the deserted and perfect Streedagh beach. Killybegs is very empty and sad, but the fresh scampi from the Seafood Shack on the pier didn’t disappoint.

I’m setttled now for the night of rain that lies ahead. I’ll be lulled to sleep by the flashing of the lighthouse on Rotten Island very close by.

Just 2 extras today. The jellyfish looks like a young lion’s mane, anyone know? Whatever it is, it was vey mobile moving in and out of crevices intentionally.
