No.8: Meadow Brown

A rather scruffy one, I'm afraid, but it keeps my challenge alive. I'm a bit late this evening as I had a drive out to a viewpoint in the vain hope that the clouds would part to reveal the blood moon. There were lots of people around, who presumably had the same vain hope. 
It's been the hottest, most sticky day so far, despite a good downpour yesterday evening. I did a Big Butterfly Count this afternoon and recorded 19 butterflies of 8 species. Most of them were those I'd already blipped, There was a nice Peacock amongst them, but it wouldn't settle for more than the briefest moment.
