Lunar Eclipse

I nearly didn't (get up that is), but got the better of me.  A big tree on our neighbours property hid the event, so Doug and I went around the corner to the Crematorium car park where we had a much clearer view.  We shared the spot with two other cars.
Have a look in large and away from this bright white !
Now, I'm no moon photographer (didn't have a clue about settings) the first two are taken out the car window, the third with the tripod.  Clear sky for the first one, then the clouds drifted through and dawn was well and truly broken meaning the red moon was lost in the daylight.  Any rate, it was good to see this event, a once in our life time so they say.

Middle 7.07 am
Right 7.13 am

The rest of the day I have spent with oldTimer helping her with a few things.
A good day and now a big night of semi-final rugby.  Our team The Crusaders V The Hurricanes.  The other semi-final between an Australian & South African team.
