Look what the rain did!

The rain we longed for has been with us all day, and look what it has done to my agapanthus! It has been miserable weather in Surrey all day where the "Ride London Surrey" cycle race is taking place. We are watching it on tv, seeing them race through the roads just a mile or so from us. It is still raining, the roads are wet and there is some debris to add to the hazards for the cyclists.
No gardening for the boys today. I cooked my usual Sunday roast, all the while enjoying their company as they played card games with Normous at the kitchen table. (Extra). Coco has enjoyed their company and was involved in everything they did. They have gone home now, George to get himself geared up for his driving test tomorrow. It has been so good to have them here, I hope they can come again.
