Swiss Army Whatsit

What ever made the Swiss Army go in for such a gimmicky thing I just can’t imagine.  The only blades that come out easily are the sharp ones, and you need another Swiss Army Knife to get the others out!  And how you use it like that I don’t know – seems a bit dodgy to me.
 
In all fairness this dates back to the 1970’s and I don’t think it’s been used since before my uncle Bryn died.  Also this is a Aitor Nox Spanish version, not a genuine Swiss Army knife.  It turned up this afternoon when I was rummaging through some of my ‘inheritance’ from Auntie Zélie who passed away a few years ago.  I needed a blip . . .
 
There is so much I’ve got for Auntie and Uncle I feel a few more blips coming on.
