Sunday City

Not a great shot; it was chucking it down most of the day. Then late afternoon my daughter and I went into the city to get a bite to eat and watch Oceans 8. Great film. Loved the fact there were so many hidden references. 

This is the street when we came out. There is something enduringly fascinating about the empty city streets after everyone has gone home. You wouldn't think in this modern world that there are times when the streets are empty, but there are. The gap between the day life and night life, and then again between the night owls and early risers. It is never completely empty, but it does drop back to very quiet.
