Repairs

In between family fun activities I've been pottering at a repair to the roof, completing the job I started back in May.

It had been suggested that this job was impossible, and that the end piece and roof sheets couldn't be bent back to shape properly.

Careful plotting, patience, use of wooden frames for shaping, clamps for bending, and some special roofing screws to force everything back into place and secure it have got it back to pretty much exactly how it should be.  A bit of sealant finishes the job.

The issue was mostly cosmetic/long term (water wasn't really  getting into the house) so I'm glad that's done.

CyclopsJnr enjoyed "helping" on occasion...
